Challenging the Deep was first presented as a physical exhibit at Albert R. Mann Library in the fall of 2017. This updated online version of the original exhibit was published in December 2022 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the launch of HMS Challenger's momentous expedition. Publication of the digital exhibit was made possible through the support of the Elizabeth E. (Betty) Rowley Fund for Mann Library.
