The LC-Smith Typewriter

The LC-Smith Typewriter

1915-25 L.C. Smith & Bros., owned by Mann Library, was located in the Uris lobby. Inspired by "Notes from a Public Typewriter," the typewriters allowed Cornellians to connect with each other and the past. If someone had already typed on a page, users were invited to leave some space and continue with their own narratives, adding pages as needed. The Library has archived these sheets of paper.
