This website was hand-coded using HTML 4.01, CSS2, and JavaScript 1.5 standards on a Power Mac G5 computer running Mac OS X Panther. It is best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher, using the latest available version of Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Internet Explorer, or Safari.
Exhibition items were digitized by the Cornell University Library's Digital Consulting and Production Services staff. Adobe Photoshop CS and Macromedia Fireworks MX were used to resize and optimize derivative JPG and GIF image files from the original exhibition images, and to create additional website graphics.
The fonts used in all illustrative graphics are Centaur MT and Skia. The text font sets are Verdana, Arial, san-serif, and Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif.
