THAYAHT

THAYAHT was the pseudonym of Ernesto Michahelles, an Italian-born designer and artist who became strongly associated with the Futurist movement of the 1930s. In the 1920s, he was the graphic artist for Madeleine Vionnet and his work for Gazette du Bon Ton entirely illustrates her designs. THAYAHT’s style begins to fuse the bold geometrics of Deco architecture into the more abstract representations of Cubism.
