This online tour of the Andrew Dickson White Presidential Library was created during the pandemic spring of 2020 using digitized images from University and personal archives by Cornell University Library staff intimately familiar with its nooks and crannies. We hope you will enjoy learning about its background, and will come visit in person as soon as it is safe to do so and New York State allows. We look forward to meeting you there!

Curatorial text provided by: Reanna Esmail and Susette Newberry of Research & Learning Services, Olin & Uris Libraries

Photography by Craig Mains, Access Services, Olin & Uris Libraries, and Susette Newberry

We'd also like to thank Lance Heidig of the Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections for research and for his insight into A. D. White's role as a collector.
